Swimming in the Air

March 2009 by

I made this song a few years ago. I heard this song again after forgetting about it and thought it was worth sharing. I'd like to get some feedback on it. I'm posting this song as a kick off to more songs with lyrics coming from me. This song doesn't have much lyrics, which is a problem of mine, so I may actually take some time to finish it up by developing the lyrics more, or I'll just start fresh.  So now that I'm sharing this with you guys the pressure is on, next hellagem will have to live up to this one. Let me know what you think.

very cool, but way too short! I like the ghostey feel of the vocals. The song has an interesting asian feel to it. More parts to this would be awesome.

This is way awesome! It sounds soo good. I love the vocals and melodies, and oh my gosh harmonies. I don't think it's necessarily too short. I mean it is on the shorter side, but it does have that short and sweet quality to me, good pacing. I love it. -Steve "The Jerko" Martin

Thanks, so harmonies = good, vocal melodies = good. Areas to improve = longer, but only if it stays as sweet or doesn't take away from the sweet, and I just want more than 2 lines for a song. I'm trying to figure out what aspects from this I could take to a new song. I know I like it, but I don't really know why :P Thanks again for the input!

I remember this one from back in the myspace days. If I were you I would change my name to "never not awesome".

This is super lush. Your voice could really be more in the foreground, but it's nice.
