Here's another short song.
Here's another short song.
Here's a song about the concerns of being older and not acting your age. It is actually terrifying to other people, because I can really get along rather well on my own. Realistically speaking I could probably live off of my savings for a while and spend my money filling an entire house with Fanta cans and old newspapers. Who can do that when they're 21 years old? Nobody, that's who!
Anyway. If anyone knows anything about preamps, let me know and I will complain to you. Otherwise, enjoy the song!
Went to church this evening. The preacher quoted kierkegaard on staying on the sidelines in life. Then I went to a potluck and saw a girl. Then I wrote a song about it!
It was a pretty good evening, you know?
Been doing a lot of stuff in FL Studio lately and no real instruments. Mostly because it's just drag and drop. It's a hassle to drag out my various pieces of real musical equipment and set them up. I haven't even touched my guitar in months. that's very sad.
Tonight I pull them out again. I want to start doing more instrumental pieces for that game I'm working on. This one took me about 10 minutes to compose for one minute of recording. I might use this as part of a longer piece or maybe in a part where the music can be short; like a menu or something. As usual, it ends abruptly because it is meant to be looped.
Check out my latest sketchbook post for a little bit of concept art if you are interested int he game.
The lyrics for this one just started coming out the other evening, so I wrote them down real quick. Then this morning I took a moment to record a melody a cappella. Then this evening I had an idea for the guitars and recorded them.
These lyrics are searching for stability in something unstable.
